While Kim Vigsbo worked as a UX/UI designer/developer for a Danish software company, he was offered the opportunity to work with the first version of Microsoft Access, which was released in late 1992.

Microsoft released version 1.1 in early 1993, and using the newly implemented Access Basic programming language, he created a commercial solution for the largest conference center in Denmark.

The project was a success and was featured in the Danish version of the Microsoft Magazine publication.
